Parenting With Optimism!

During the month of May, I thought about the poetry and musical presentation I wrote many years ago entitled, “Woman, Wife, Mother…A Song to Sing!” The following song is from this presentation, and I hope it will bring some inspiration, joy, and determination to keep trying for all parents! 

Whether we are female or male, we each have responsibilities and roles to perform, and we need to take an eternal perspective and not get bogged down in the repetitive cycle and struggles of daily life. Becoming a “Gentleman, Husband, and Father” is just as vital to the world as becoming a “Woman, Wife, and Mother” as parents share in the blessing of raising kind, loving children who will help to make the world a better place to live. 

Yes, we as mothers and fathers must always maintain our optimism and eternal perspective!
